Without method chaining:

controller.setSurfaceColor( "#00FF00" );
controller.setSelectedColor( "#FF0000" );
controller.disableUnmentioned( true );

With method chaining:

controller.setSurfaceColor( "#00FF00" )
        .setSelectedColor( "#FF0000" )
        .disableUnmentioned( true );
