Choose one topic in the table of content at the left side or browse through the module by using the arrow buttons on the top and bottom of every page. You can also use the search engine to find the information you are looking for.
从左侧栏里的内容表里选择主题。你也可以使用搜索引擎查找你关注的信息。
 
2 First steps 
2.1 Access to the ILIAS installation  访问ILIAS安装
2.2 Public area 公共区域
Public area
With some ILIAS installations, a so called Public area opens up after you have called the URL – even without logging in. Within this area you can find information on different content offers – if those have been made accessible -, sorted according to subjects (Categories). By a Search functionality, you can also look out for specific subjects.
在某些ILIAS安装里，在你打开URL后（即使未登录），一个叫做公共区域也会被打开。在这个区域，你能找到不同内容提供者的信息-如果哪些被允许访问-根据主题（分类）排序。通过搜索功能，你也能将特点主题找出。
In case a public area isn't available, this is because the ILIAS administrator in charge hasn't unblocked it. You then will immediately get to the login page.
如果公共区域不可用，这是因为ILIAS管理员未解锁它。然后你将会立刻转到登陆页面。

3 Standards of the ILIAS user interface ILIAS用户接口标准
3.1 Object type icons 对象类型图标
Everything you are dealing with in ILIAS is located within one or the other object. These objects differ according to type, examples of this are Forums,Tests or Courses.
在ILIAS里你做操作的一切都是在定位对象。这些对象根据类型区分，例如论坛、测试、课程。
The contents of object types and your options inside them strongly varies. To give you an indication of what to expect in an object, the latter has always a so-called icon, a graphical marker that is standard for all objects of that type.
对象类型的内容和选项是大不相同的。为了区分你期望的对象，设立了图标，一个对相同类型的对象标准化的图形标记。
The icon of an object is visible in all possible positions where you are dealing with the object, i.e.:
当你操作对象时，对象的图标在所有可能位置上都是可见的，例如：
When you look at the object from outside, no matter whether you …

go to its location in the Repository,

have placed it onto your Personal Desktop,

The icon is then displayed to the left of the title.
图标都会显示在标题的左侧
When you are inside the object:
当你进入对象
The icon is then displayed to the left of the title.
If the object has more sub-levels and find yourself on such a sub-level: 
如果对象有子层，并且发现处于子层
The icon then appears in the navigation path.
图标会显示在导航路径里。
Moving the cursor over the icon, ILIAS displays a tooltip text that tells you the type of object.
当光标滑过图标时，ILIAS会显示一个工具提示告诉你对象类型。
3.2 Navigation elements 导航元素
3.2.1 Main header bar 主标题栏
On top of the screen you will always find in any view in ILIAS the main header bar that offers the following possibilities:
在ILIAS的任何视图里，你总会看到屏幕的顶部的主标题栏，它提供了以下功能：
Log off the system (on top right, next to your name)
注销系统（在右上方，紧挨着你的名字）
Jump in one of the main views of ILIAS, i.e.:
跳转到ILIAS主视图的任意一个，例如：
The Personal Desktop, the Repository, the Search, the Mail system (by default, all of them are available to users without administrative permissions, s. also the Online Assistance for ILIAS Lecturers)

the Administration area (by default, it’s only available to users with the role "Administrator")
