Xbox开源媒体播放器XBMC开发小组推出了最新XBMC Atlantis测试版，支持多平台，包括：Linux、Mac OS X (Leopard和Tiger)、Windows和Xbox。 Atlantis最终版本将于10月发布。
XBMC Media Center "Atlantis" Beta 1 说明：
1、新版本增添了全新的皮肤“PM3.HD”。作为Project Mayhem III的一款高清晰皮肤会被添加到Linux ， Mac OS X和Windows操作系统的默认设置中。
2 、Atlantis Beta 1包括首次发布的内置操作系统“XBMC Live”。它允许用户不使用硬盘而通过光盘或USB在计算机上运行XBMC。此外，XBMC Live允许XBMC随操作系统安装，支持微软的MCE远程控制和USB接收器。
3、Mac版本的XBMC现在可以支持iTunes和iPhoto了。而且，Mac版本的Beta 1捆绑了Razorfish设计的MediaStream（当然，其他XBMC平台用户也可以下载使用）。
