Working with keyboard shortcuts is more effective than mouse, especially for programmer

There has no Windows logo key and application key on IBM T43, but I heard IBM T60 will add this two keys, exactly, I don’t know this is a good news or bad news.
Oh, please excuse me, in this article I’ll introduce some keyboard shortcuts which you had never used

The IBM T60 keyboard remains old IBM ThinkPad keyboard style, but only shortens the spacebar key; you can see the following figures.
The Windows logo key and application key is powerful? Or, there is no way to use keyboard shortcuts for Windows without logo/application key? What’s the really case? If I working on the other perfect OS such as Ubuntu, or multi-boot OS.
If you like Windows logo and application keys, you can use IBM keyboard customize utility to mapping those keys.

I’ll use logo key to indicate Windows logo key, and application key to indicate Windows application key.
logo Display or hide the start menu
logo + Break Display or hide start menu
logo + D Shows the desktop
logo + E Display or hide start menu
logo + R Display the run dialog
logo + M Minimizes all windows
logo + U Open the utility manager dialog
logo + F Display the find dialog
logo + Ctrl + F Open the find computer dialog, if on desktop
Alt + Esc Cycle through the items in the order they were opened
Alt + F4 Close the active item, or quit the active program
Alt + Spacebar Display the system menu for the active window
Alt + Tab Switch open the items
F2 Rename selected item
F3 Search
F4 Display the address bar on windows explorer
F6 Cycle through the items in a window or on the desktop
F10 Active the menu bar in the active program
Ctrl + Shift + Esc Display the start menu
Shift + F10 Display the shortcut menu for the selected item
Shift Prevent the CD from automatically playing when you insert CD into the CD-ROM
Left Arrow Collapse current selection if it’s expanded or select parent folder
Right Arrow Display current selection if it’s collapsed, or select first subfolder
Backspace Return to up-level on dictionary tree
Ctrl + Tab Move forward through tabs
Ctrl + Shift + Tab Move backward through tabs
Tab Move forward through options
Shift + Tab Move backward through options
Spacebar Select or clear the check box if the active option is a check box
F4 Display the items in the active list
