摘要:
Flavor-changing neutral currents involving e, μ and u, d, s quarks are characterized by a mass scale that is forced experimentally to exceed several tens of TeV to a few PeV. We show that this conclusion remains valid when couplings to τ and heavy c and b quarks are included in lepton-lepton and quark-quark currents. The experimental input comes from D 0 D0 and B d B d mixing, and ( g2) for e and μ. Future experiments of deep inelastic scattering of e and μ can reach a sensitivity characterized by Λ ∽ 3 TeV. Such experiments can set limits to leptoquark currents involving the heavy c, b and even t quarks that are not easily accessible in weak decays.
