摘要:

A seed-mediated ultrasonic assisted hydrolysis process has been implemented for the synthesization of a new(101) high-energy plane bounded ZnO nanocubes on Fluorine doped Tin Oxide(FTO)substrate.The heterogeneous catalytic property of this sample has been tested on the photodegradation of methyl orange(MO) with and without the present of UV light irradiation.It was found that these ZnO nanocubes with(101) basal plane exhibit excellent catalytic and photocatalytic properties with maximum photodegradation efficiency of 5.7 percent/μg mW which is 200 times higher than those reported results.This newly-synthesized unique(101) ZnO nanocubes could provide potential applications in the field of photoelectrochemistry.
